Mister Rand has asked us to comment upon our experience with the Dream-State or Dreaming, made famous in your time by Australian aboriginal cultures. There are several levels or facets to the Dream-State, each of which is accessed with more or less difficulty depending upon the expertise of the Dreamer, and two of which are accessed with no effort at all by every creature in physical reality.
As traditional Australian cultures recognize, the first level of the Dreaming is the level from which all of physical reality springs. It surrounds physical reality, and imbues it; and as such it lies at the heart of all creative endeavor. It is the plane of the perfect form of which the ancient Greeks speak, and coincides with, but is not identical to, the level of reality termed by some quantum physicists the Plane of Superimplicate Order.
In sum, the first level of the Dreaming contains the physical reality and everything composing it, from mathematics to physics to evolutionary biology and all the way “down” to specific individual plant, animal, and mineral forms. One might call this level of the Dreaming the Dream of the Earth, for though it is not conscious in the sense of mental awareness, it can be accessed by [human] consciousness. When native shamans communicate with the spirits of rocks, trees, sky, water, and other so-called inanimate objects, they do so by way of the Dream of the Earth.
The second level of the Dreaming one might call the Dream of the Mind. All creatures possessed of brains interweave their consciousnesses on this level. As there is no time in the Dreaming, and no space, through this level of the Dreaming one can commune with the consciousness of any brained creature, past present or future by your reckoning. However, great care must be taken when traversing this realm, as it is also the realm of what are commonly referred to in New Age parlance as “thought forms,” mental constructs that take on a life of their own after the one who has thought them moves on to other thoughts or leaves the body in death.
Now it is no surprise perhaps to learn that not all thoughts are thoughts that may be considered noble, elevated, loving, or true. Thus, any thought-form can achieve independent life and be set loose in the ocean of the Dream of Mind, sometimes to be caught in the mental net of one seeking to “channel” accurate information of use in physical reality. For this reason any individual desirous of learning to “channel” must learn to differentiate between thought-forms of force, threat, blame, or error and thought-forms of acceptance, understanding, loving, and giving. Otherwise, much of what Mister Rand terms “foolishness” can pass for divine insight, when actually it is simply “lame” thought-forms floating about in the aether.
The third level of the Dreaming one might call the Dream of Time. On this level, all possible pasts, presents, and futures are conceived and made available to incarnating souls for their use in creativity, experimentation, experience, and growth. This is the reality often referred to in New Age circles as the “Causal Plane” or the “Akashic Plane,” the idea being that the record of all an individual’s incarnations may be found here. The Dream of Time is also the level of reality where [soul] memories are stored. So when an individual develops what you term Alzheimer’s disease, and seems to regress to an earlier stage of their life, in fact what is taking place is that that individual has begun a process of life-evaluation normally undertaken after physical death, the “life review” so often experienced by persons at the edge of death as well.
When a parent with Alzheimer’s does not recognize you as their daughter, it is not because “deep down” they do not wish to recognize you; it is that they are time-traveling to a period before you were born or even thought of. So endeavor if you can to keep their bodies warm and fed until such time as their consciousness returns to your spacetime nexus, or leaves its body. Past, future, and other life regressions access this plane, also, but again care must be taken when undertaking any life-recall, for the energic proximity of Thought Reality, a.k.a. the Dream of Mind, to the Dream of Time level means that it is very easy for individuals exploring the Dream of Time to have their memory or impressions of other lives colored highly by errant and limited thought-forms. One way to minimize the likelihood of this happening is for the regression therapist to place a bowl of water in each corner of the therapy room. Thought-energy is held captive in water’s crystalline matrix, and after the session the bowls can be emptied with no harm either to the environment or the therapist and therapy client.
The fourth level of the Dreaming may be called the Dream of Love. On this level of the Dreaming, the soul conceives of the experiences it wishes to have during its sojourn in physical reality. On this level also, soul matrices are born; that is, networks of heart-connection among groups of souls who then go on to incarnate together for mutual consolation, support, and experience. Physical reality in all its complexity emerged from the fourth Dreaming level, made of Love and imbued by Love if Love may be conceived of as unconditional support for the expression of uniqueness in an expanding way.
“But life here on Earth is so hard,” points out Mister Rand. And in fact this is true. Those individuals who follow the teachings of Siddhartha the Buddha point out that everything in physical reality changes eventually, and that much human suffering is caused by the heart’s desire to cling to ideas of what it needs for security, safety, love, and nurture, whether it be the desire for a narrow waistline or the desire for world peace or the desire for a big house or a handsome lover or eternal youth or world fame or any of the myriad conceptions the heart can come up with. It is in the fourth level of the Dreaming that attachment is forged, and in order to release attachment when it is no longer useful in bringing about the experiences one desires, it is necessary to expand to the fifth level of the Dreaming, the Dream of the Womb.
The fifth level of the Dreaming may be called the Dream of the Womb, or the Dream of Nondifferentiation. On this level, the soul experiences itself not as “I am” but as “we are,” and in so doing is free to travel in any direction without fear, for it knows on the deepest part of the self that it has and always will have everything it will ever need to be absolutely safe, loved, and protected. This is the level of the Dreaming that Mister Rand connected to in his vision of Divine Love back in November 2013.
Mister Rand experienced a state of awareness in his vision of a loving Presence that surrounded and filled him with absolute, unconditional, faceless/wordless/and motionless Love, eternal and unchanging. He knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that nothing he had ever done, was doing now, or might do in future could separate him from this Love. This Love also spoke to him many of his years ago, when he was visiting the back yard of the Sanctuary of Chimayó. Behind the church there, in the fenced off area where pilgrims and sufferers of all kinds pin notes, pictures, cards, or photographs asking the Divine for succor, Mister Rand “heard” a “voice” saying to him from the nearby brook, “Do not listen to the old men on the hill. From my womb you came, to my womb you will return; you have a right to be here.” The fifth level of the Dreaming is the deepest level of the Dreaming in which the individual consciousness to any extent exists. The final two levels are levels connected to the Greater and Greatest Self of all conscious entities, those Selves from which all individual Selves emerge and are continually sustained.
The sixth level of the Dreaming one may term the Dream of the Source. It is on this level that each conscious entity’s Greater Self or Higher Self or Higher Power exists in a state of transcendent awareness, acceptance, peace, and humor. The Greater Self of all humans is there; so is the Greater Self of all mammals who are not human; [and] the Greater Selves of every creature who has ever lived in physical reality. Another name for this level is the Dream of the Gods, for here those great consciousnesses you may term the gods and goddesses dwell.
And the seventh level of the Dreaming one may term the Dream of Silence or the Dream of the One. It is a state of absolute stillness, absolute awareness of All That Is and All That May Be. In contrast with the Dream of Love, the Dream of the Source may appear passionless, but that is simply because contained within It are all possible consciousness and possible experiences in a completed state of fullness.
